BHS BASKETBALL PLAYERS - Officiating Program

Branford Youth Basketball proudly sponsors annual officiating training for our BHS basketball players, giving students the opportunity to support our youth divisions throughout the basketball season.

Once trained, BHS basketball players may work BYBL games as:

• Game Officials / Referees
• Scorebook Keepers
• Game Clock Operators

All BHS basketball players interested in participating must complete the required training and provide their contact information to Branford Youth Basketball.

Our BYBL Vice President coordinates and schedules all student officials throughout the season, taking into consideration experience, seniority, availability, and the needs of each division.

We work directly with our student officials throughout the season and take great pride in helping them develop their officiating skills, confidence, responsibility, and leadership, while earning money and giving back to the younger players in our basketball community.

We are incredibly proud of the BHS players who continue to support Branford Youth Basketball and serve as positive role models for the next generation of Branford athletes!
