Our mission

Our mission for Branford Youth Basketball League (BYBL) is to provide quality basketball instruction and programs for all skill levels in the town of Branford. We aim to enhance players’ basketball knowledge and skills while promoting personal growth, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. BYBL offers a variety of programs—from introductory clinics to recreational and travel leagues—for grades K–8, ensuring every player, from beginners to competitive athletes, can develop, have fun, and thrive in a supportive community environment for all levels.


Winter Programs

  • Kindergarten & Grade 1: Introductory level
  • Grades 2 & 3: Learning the game  
  • Grades 4 to 8: Recreation (in town)
  • Grades 4 to 8: Travel (out of town) competitive play
