Branford Travel Basketball Program

Players interested in more competitive, out-of-town basketball can try out for the Branford Travel Basketball Program.

Travel teams are offered for Grades 4–8, with team tryouts held each September and October for the upcoming winter season.

To be considered for a Travel team, new and returning players must:

• Register for Travel tryouts
• Attend at least one scheduled tryout
• Register for the BYBL Recreation Program

Following tryouts, players selected for a Travel team will receive team registration information. An additional $300 Travel Program fee will apply.

A $100 deposit is due within five (5) days of team selection to secure the player's roster spot and uniform for the upcoming season. The remaining $200 balance must be paid before the first games on December 5.

Travel team placement is not guaranteed and is based on tryout evaluations and team selections.
